StitchTip calculator
Pattern resizing calculator
Scale a rectangular pattern to new dimensions while keeping stitch counts compatible with your repeat.
How pattern resizing works
Original stitch and row counts are multiplied by the target-to-original width and height ratios. Stitches can then be adjusted to a complete repeat.
Pattern resizing example
A 100-stitch, 120-row panel sized 50 × 60 cm becomes 120 stitches and 150 rows at 60 × 75 cm.
Frequently asked questions
Will this preserve garment shaping?
It preserves proportional counts for rectangular sections. Recalculate shaped necklines, armholes and sleeves separately.
